Getting a Kansas Library Card is easy -- visit the McPherson Public Library and we will gladly issue one.
Please remember that your Kansas Library Card must be renewed after one year.
FirstSearch -- Twelve databases covering a wide variety of subjects, many providing online full-text of the articles. Includes general periodical databases as well as ABI Inform, ERIC, and Medline.
Sirs Discoverer -- Multidisciplinary research and study site designed specially for kids. Each article and activity is coded by reading level.
Heritage Quest -- Complete census records for the United States from 1790 to 1920. Searchable in many different ways. Includes facsimiles of the handwritten census enumeration pages.
Infotrac -- A far-reaching suite of powerful databases: National Newspaper Index, Health Reference Center, Academic ASAP, Computer Database, Business and Company Resource Center, Health and Wellness Resource Center, and Literature Resource Center.
World Book Online Reference Center -- Includes the contents of the entire encyclopedia set as well as many other features which are updated daily.
ProQuest Nursing Journals -- Search over 400 nursing journals in full-text.
